Carterville Student Ministry exists to empower students (7th to 12th) for a lifetime of connecting to God and His church, growing in their love for God, and leading people to God by words and actions.
Our core values:
Our Wednesday Connect Nights serve as an important entry point for our ministry. On these evenings, we prioritize students forming connections with God, His church, and each other.
From 5:00 to 6:00 PM, students can enjoy pizza and socialize in our game room. Then, from 6:00 to 7:15 PM, we gather in the Fellowship Hall. During this time, we engage in grade- and gender-based small groups, participate in worship through singing led by our student worship team, and spend time studying Scripture together.
Our Sunday Morning Grow Groups provide a valuable next step for students who want to deepen their love for God. During these groups, we focus on helping students grow in their understanding and affection for God through inductive Bible study. Grow Groups begin at approximately 9:15 AM in the Fellowship Hall and are organized by grade and gender.
