Carterville College Ministry gives young adults a place to discover purpose, pleasure, and meaning as they learn from God, each other, and believers of all ages. College students can learn from adult believers by joining a Journey Group or from younger believers by volunteering to serve in children or student ministry groups. We find it thrilling when college students use their gifts to serve in our worship services, groups, or our ministry teams.
We meet together for breakfast and small groups on Sunday mornings at 9:15 in the Chapel.
On Wednesday nights we share a meal, read scripture together, and talk about life in the Fellowship Hall at 7:30.
At Carterville we encourage people of all ages to serve in some capacity. We believe that serving one another is one of the best ways we can love one another within our church. Opportunities include student ministry, children’s ministry, & work projects with our mission partners in our area and abroad. If you are interested in serving at Carterville, or with one of our mission partners, we want to get you connected.
In our College Ministry we offer our college students the opportunity to learn from adult believers through Journey Groups. These are small groups of 3-7 people that are invited into the homes of church members or coffee shops to have topical Bible studies. Journey Groups are a great way to grow in faith and get to know others.
